AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixty Three Thousand Twenty-
Seven Dollars ($163,027.00) from the General Fund to be used for project costs for engineering
services for the design of Maximo Transportation Module Implementation Services at various
locations throughout the District; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Mercury &
Associates for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid rehabilitation is One Hundred Forty Eight
Thousand One Hundred Twenty Dollars ($148,120.00), and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Fourteen Thousand Nine Hundred Seven Dollars
($14,907.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty Three Thousand Twenty-Seven
Dollars ($163,027.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to be used for project costs
for engineering services for the design of Maximo Transportation Module Implementation
Services at various locations throughout the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Mercury & Associates as the lowest responsible bidder for engineering services for the design of
Maximo Transportation Module Implementation Services at various location s throughout the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 22, 2013.
