AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($5,200,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Fee Fee Creek Public I/I Reduction (11830) in The Cities of
Creve Coeur, Maryland Heights, Overland, St. Ann, and Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA,
LLC for the rehabilitation of the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the rehabilitation of said sanitary sewers is Four Million
Eight Hundred Forty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-One and 45/100 Dollars
($4,848,861.45), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project costs is
Three Hundred Fifty One Thousand One Hundred Thirty-Eight and 55/100 Dollars
($351,138.55), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($5,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Fee Fee Creek Public I/I Reduction
(11830) in The Cities of Creve Coeur, Maryland Heights, Overland, St. Ann, and Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Insituform Technologies USA, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the rehabilitation of
sanitary sewers in Fee Fee Creek Public I/I Reduction (11830) in The Cities of Creve Coeur,
Maryland Heights, Overland, St. Ann, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant
to bids received and opened on the 19th day of March, 2013.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
