AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Twenty One Thousand Dollars
($21,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for storm sewer
construction in Blancha Dr. to Olive Blvd. Sewer Separation (10393), in The City of University
City, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 10971 with Pangea Group for the
construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13468, adopted September 27, 2012, appropriated the
initial funds and authorized the contract for said project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty One Thousand Dollars ($21,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for storm sewer
construction in Blancha Dr. to Olive Blvd. Sewer Separation (10393), in The City of University
City, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 10971
with Pangea Group for storm sewer construction in Blancha Dr. to Olive Blvd. Sewer Separation
(10393) in The City of University City, Missouri, said contract amendment to be comprised of
such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 13, 2013.
