HomeMy Public PortalAbout13643ORDINANCE NO. 13643 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for pump station improvements in Bissell Service Area Pump Station Power Supply Improvements (11815), in The City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20035 with Schneider Electric Company for the aforesaid pump station improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for said contract is One Million Eight Hundred Sixty Two Thousand and Eighty-Six Dollars ($1,862,086.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Thirty Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Fourteen Dollars ($137,914.00). WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for pump station improvements in Bissell Service Area Pump Station Power Supply Improvements (11815), in The City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20035 with Schneider Electric Company as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in Bissell Service Area Pump Station Power Supply Improvements (11815), in The City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 5th day of June 2013. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 8, 2013.
