HomeMy Public PortalAbout13644ORDINANCE NO. 13644 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($750,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for sanitary sewer construction in CSO - South County Park Subsystem No. 71 Interceptor (I-161) Separation (10430), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20019 with Visu-Sewer of Missouri, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Six Hundred Sixty Six Thousand Four Hundred Fifty One and 84/100 Dollars ($666,451.84) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Eighty Three Thousand Five Hundred Forty Eight and 16/100 Dollars ($83,548.16). WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-referenced fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($750,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for sanitary sewer construction in CSO - South County Park Subsystem No. 71 Interceptor (I-161) Separation (10430) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20019 with Visu-Sewer of Missouri, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in CSO - South County Park Subsystem No. 71 Interceptor (I-161) Separation (10430), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 7th day of June 2013. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 8, 2013.
