HomeMy Public PortalAbout13651ORDINANCE NO. 13651 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for sanitary sewer construction in CSO - Jefferson Barracks Subsystem No. 72 Interceptor (I-122) Separation (10429), Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20052 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Two Million One Hundred Thirty Six Thousand Two Hundred Four Dollars ($2,136,204.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Three Hundred Sixty Three Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-Six Dollars ($363,796.00). WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for sanitary sewer construction in CSO - Jefferson Barracks Subsystem No. 72 Interceptor (I-122) Separation (10429), Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20052 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in CSO - Jefferson Barracks Subsystem No. 72 Interceptor (I-122) Separation (10429), Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 11th day of June 2013. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 8, 2013.
