HomeMy Public PortalAbout13653ORDINANCE NO. 13653 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seven Million Dollars ($7,000.000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY2013) Contract B (11845) in The District Boundaries in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20058 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC for the rehabilitation of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the rehabilitation of said sanitary sewers is Six Million Six Hundred Seventy Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Four and 75/100 Dollars ($6,670,574.75), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project costs is Three Hundred Twenty Nine Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-Five and 25/100 Dollars ($329,425.25), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Seven Million Dollars ($7,000.000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY2013) Contract B (11845) in The District Boundaries in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20058 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY2013) Contract B (11845) in The District Boundaries in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 21st day of June 2013. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 8, 2013.
