HomeMy Public PortalAbout13715ORDINANCE NO. 13715 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY2013) Contract C (11846), in various municipalities in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20062 with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. for the aforesaid sanitary sewer rehabilitation. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer rehabilitation is One Million Nine Hundred Forty Seven Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Six and 60/100 Dollars ($1,947,546.60) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Fifty Two Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Three and 40/100 Dollars ($152,453.40), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY2013) Contract C (11846), in various municipalities in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20062 with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY2013) Contract C (11846), in various municipalities in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 9th day of July, 2013. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on September 12, 2013.
