AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Hundred Ninety Thousand
Dollars ($190,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering services
for the design of the Baumgartner & Black Forest Sanitary Replacement (10066) (E-1253); and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to enter into Amendment No. 5 to
Contract No. 10854 with Heideman & Associates, Inc. for the aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12815, adopted February 12, 2009, provided the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 10854, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($190,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering services
for the design of the Baumgartner & Black Forest Sanitary Replacement (10066) (E-1253).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized to enter into Amendment No. 5 to Contract No. 10854 with Heideman &
Associates, Inc. for additional engineering services for the design of the Baumgartner & Black
Forest Sanitary Replacement (10066) (E-1253); said amendment to be comprised of such terms
and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on October 10, 2013.
