AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Thousand Dollars
($300,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund of the District for General Services
Agreement - Sewer & Process Design (FY2014) (11759); and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract No. 20086 with the Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. for the aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, said contract provides for an initial term of one (1) year with one (1)
additional one-year renewal term at the option of the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund of the District for General Services
Agreement - Sewer & Process Design (FY2014) (11759).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20086 with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. for General Services Agreement - Sewer &
Process Design (FY2014) (11759); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as
are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 14, 2013.
