AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Seventeen Thousand Dollars
($217,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction at
CC-14 Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Relief (SKME-026) Phase II (11793), in the City of Creve
Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20080 with Unnerstall
Contracting Co., Ltd., Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the sanitary sewer construction is One Hundred Ninety
Six Thousand Four Hundred Fift y-Six and 20/100 Dollars ($196,456.20) and the allowance for
change orders and other project costs is Twenty Thousand Five Hundred Forty Three and 80/100
Dollars ($20,543.80), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Seventeen Thousand Dollars
($217,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
sanitary sewer construction at CC-14 Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Relief (SKME-026) Phase II
(11793), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20080 with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
sanitary sewer construction at CC-14 Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Relief (SKME-026) Phase II
(11793), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 10th
day of October, 2013.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The proposed Ordinance was adopted on December 12, 2013.
