AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars
($280,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements at
Mackenzie Place Pump Station (P-325) Secondary Power Supply (11654), in the City of
St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20083 with TGB, Inc. for
the construction of the aforesaid improvements.
WHEREAS, the bid for the pump station improvements is Two Hundred Thirty
Three Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-Five Dollars ($233,945.00) and the allowance for change
orders and other project costs is Forty Sixty Thousand Fifty-Five Dollars ($46,055.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($280,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station
improvements at Mackenzie Place Pump Station (P-325) Secondary Power Supply (11654), in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20083 with TGB, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the pump station improvements at
Mackenzie Place Pump Station (P-325) Secondary Power Supply (11654), in the City of
St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 22nd day of October, 2013.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The proposed Ordinance was adopted on December 12, 2013.
