AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Two Hundred Ninety Thousand
Dollars ($290,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00) from the General Fund for Construction Management Services - Lower Meramec
and Deer Creek Tunnels (11826) and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20099 with
Black & Veatch Corporation, for the aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($290,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for Construction Management
Services - Lower Meramec and Deer Creek Tunnels (11826).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20099 with Black & Veatch Corporation, for Construction Management Services - Lower
Meramec and Deer Creek Tunnels (11826); said contract being comprised of such terms and
conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The proposed Ordinance was adopted on December 12, 2013.
