AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars
($4,400,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund of the District for engineering services for
the design of Bissell & Lemay WWTP Incinerator Scrubber Replacement (11920); and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20107 with Black & Veatch Corporation for the
aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars
($4,400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund of the District for
Bissell & Lemay WWTP Incinerator Scrubber Replacement (11920).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20107 with Black & Veatch Corporation for Bissell & Lemay WWTP Incinerator Scrubber
Replacement (11920); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 14, 2013.
