AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Hundred Sixty Thousand
Dollars ($160,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for
sanitary sewer construction in Page Ave. & Lindbergh Sanitary Sewer (10725), in
Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract
No. 20013 with Midwest Mole, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13573, adopted March 14, 2013, appropriated the
initial funds and authorized the contract for said project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($160,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for sanitary
sewer construction in Page Ave. & Lindbergh Sanitary Sewer (10725), in Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20013
with Midwest Mole, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction in Page Ave. & Lindbergh Sanitary
Sewer (10725) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, said contract amendment to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The proposed Ordinance was adopted on December 12, 2013.
