Home My Public Portal About13786ORDINANCE NO. 13786 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Million Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($3,550,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Lemay Public I/I Reduction (2014) Contract A (11855) in the Cities of Webster Groves and Shrewsbury, the Village of Marlborough and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20089 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC for the aforesaid rehabilitation. WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid rehabilitation is Three Million Two Hundred Ninety Six Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Three and 20/100 Dollars ($3,296,233.20), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Two Hundred Fifty Three Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-Six 80/100 Dollars ($253, 766.80), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Million Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($3,550,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Lemay Public I/I Reduction (2014) Contract A (11855) in the Cities of Webster Groves and Shrewsbury, the Village of Marlborough and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20089 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Lemay Public I/I Reduction (2014) Contract A (11855) in the Cities of Webster Groves and Shrewsbury, the Village of Marlborough and Unincorporated St. Louis County Missouri; pursuant to bids received and opened on the 9th day of December, 2013. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 13, 2014.
