AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty Two Thousand Dollars ($42,000.00) from
the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for private I/I removal in Dacey
Branch I/I Reduction (BP-313) (11116), in the Cities of Dellwood, Ferguson and Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20128 with Dizdar
Brothers Sewer & Const., Inc. for the aforesaid private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Thirty Six Thousand Dollars
($36,000.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Six
Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty Two Thousand Dollars ($42,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for private I/I
removal in Dacey Branch I/I Reduction (BP-313) (11116), in the Cities of Dellwood, Ferguson
and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20128 with Dizdar Brothers Sewer & Const., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for
private I/I removal in Dacey Branch I/I Reduction (BP-313) (11116), in the Cities of Dellwood,
Ferguson and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened
on the 21st day of January, 2014.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 12, 2014.
