AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,800,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the rehabilitation of sewers in Old Mill
Creek Sewer Rehabilitation Phase III - 14th to 2nd Street (10722), in The City of St. Louis,
Missouri, and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20159 with the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers for the sewer rehabilitation.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,800,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the
rehabilitation of sewers in Old Mill Creek Sewer Rehabilitation Phase III - 14th to 2nd Street
(10722), in The City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20159 with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the rehabilitation of sewers in Old Mill
Creek Sewer Rehabilitation Phase III - 14th to 2nd Street (10722), in The City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
Section Three. The Agreement authorized in Section Two of this ordinance shall
be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of General Counsel of
the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on April 10, 2014.
