AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-Four Thousand Dollars ($44,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for landscaping and irrigation system
construction for the Lower Meramec River WWTP Site Restoration/Landscaping Improvements
(Phase II) (10696), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract No. 20149 with Allen Outdoor Solutions for the construction of the aforesaid
restoration and landscaping improvements.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid construction is Thirty-Nine Thousand One
Hundred Thirteen Dollars ($39,113.00), and the allowance for construction change orders and
other project expenses is Four Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-Seven Dollars ($4,887.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-Four Thousand Dollars ($44,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for landscaping and irrigation
system construction for the Lower Meramec River WWTP Site Restoration/Landscaping
Improvements (Phase II) (10696), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20149 with Allen Outdoor Solutions as the lowest responsible bidder for landscaping and
irrigation system construction for the Lower Meramec River WWTP Site
Restoration/Landscaping Improvements (Phase II) (10696) in unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 8th day of April, 2014.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 12, 2014.
