AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($3,100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Mackenzie Public I/I Reduction (11931), the City of Webster
Groves, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20140 with Insituform
Technologies USA, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer rehabilitation.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer rehabilitation is Two Million Nine
Hundred Forty-Seven Thousand One Hundred Eighty-Three Dollars ($2,947,183.00) and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Fifty-Two
Thousand Eight Hundred Seventeen Dollars ($152,817.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($3,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Mackenzie Public I/I Reduction (11931),
the City of Webster Groves, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20140 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the
rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Mackenzie Public I/I Reduction (11931), the City of Webster
Groves, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 10th day of April, 2014.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 12, 2014.
