HomeMy Public PortalAbout13835ORDINANCE NO. 13835 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($77,500.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for private I/I removal in Brightwell I/I Reduction (11718), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20148 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the aforesaid private I/I removal. WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Sixty-One Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy Dollars ($61,970.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Thirty Dollars ($15,530.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Seventy-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($77,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for private I/I removal in Brightwell I/I Reduction (11718), in the City of Florissant, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20148 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal in Brightwell I/I Reduction (11718), in the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 3rd day of April, 2014. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 12, 2014.
