AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars
($110,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for channel stabilization in Sunswept Drive #8 Bank
Stabilization (10378), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract No. 20144 with Ideal Landscape Group for the aforesaid channel stabilization
construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization construction is Eighty-Nine
Thousand Eight Hundred Eleven Dollars ($89,811.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Twenty Thousand One Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars
($20,189.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($110,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Deer Creek to be used for project costs for channel stabilization in Sunswept Drive #8 Bank
Stabilization (10378), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20144 with Ideal Landscape Group as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization
in Sunswept Drive #8 Bank Stabilization (10378), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant
to bids received and opened on the 25th day of March, 2014.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 12, 2014.
