HomeMy Public PortalAbout13840ORDINANCE NO. 13840 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements at Pump Stations SCADA Improvements (11822), in the entire District service area; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20166 with Industrial Network Systems Corporation for the equipment procurement and support services for the aforesaid improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for the pump station improvements is Three Hundred Sixty- Six Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-Eight and 25/100 Dollars ($366,768.25) and the allowance for change orders and other project costs is Thirty-Three Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-One and 75/100 Dollars ($33,231.75), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements at Pump Stations SCADA Improvements (11822), in the entire District service area. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20166 with Industrial Network Systems Corporation as the lowest responsible bidder for the pump station improvements at Pump Stations SCADA Improvements (11822), in the entire District service area. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 12, 2014.
