HomeMy Public PortalAbout13877ORDINANCE NO. 13877 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the acquisition, transfer, demolition, and related activities for real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, for Maline Creek CSO BP 051 & 052 Local Storage Facility (Chain of Rocks Dr to Church Dr) (11656) - Land Acquisition, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to acquire, transfer, demolish and perform related activities for real property necessary for the above project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the acquisition, transfer, demolition and related activities for real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, for Maline Creek CSO BP 051 & 052 Local Storage Facility (Chain of Rocks Dr to Church Dr) (11656) - Land Acquisition, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to acquire, transfer, demolish and perform related activities for real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, needed for Maline Creek CSO BP 051 & 052 Local Storage Facility (Chain of Rocks Dr to Church Dr) (11656) - Land Acquisition, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Three. Upon the execution and delivery to the District of a General Warranty Deed in proper form conveying title to all real property acquired to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to pay to the respective grantors such amount as approved for said real property. Section Four. This Ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 5, 2014.
