AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Two Million Seven Hundred
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($2,720,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Seven
Hundred Twenty-Three Thousand Dollars ($723,000.00) from the General Fund for engineering
services for the design of Bissell-Coldwater-Missouri-Meramec Sanitary System Improvements
(11144) in the Bissell, Coldwater, Missouri and Meramec Watersheds and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to amend Contract No. 11011 with AMEC Environment & Infrastructure, Inc., for the
aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13497 adopted October 11, 2012, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 11011, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Seven Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($2,720,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Seven Hundred Twenty-Three
Thousand Dollars ($723,000.00) from the General Fund for engineering services for the design
of Bissell-Coldwater-Missouri-Meramec Sanitary System Improvements (11144) in the Bissell,
Coldwater, Missouri and Meramec Watersheds.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 11011
with AMEC Environment & Infrastructure, Inc., for engineering services for the design of
Bissell-Coldwater-Missouri-Meramec Sanitary System Improvements (11144) in the Bissell,
Coldwater, Missouri and Meramec Watersheds; said contract being comprised of such terms and
conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 5, 2014.
