AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Eight Hundred Ninety-Eight
Thousand Dollars ($898,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services
for the design of University City I/I Reduction - East (WC-01, WC-02 & WC-03) (11671) in the
Cities of Normandy, Pasadena Park, Pasadena Hills, Hillsdale, Wellston, Pagedale and
University City, Missouri and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 11003 with Burns &
McDonnell Engineering Co., Inc., for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13476 adopted October 11, 2012, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 11003, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand Dollars
($898,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services for the design of
University City I/I Reduction - East (WC-01, WC-02 & WC-03) (11671) in the Cities of
Normandy, Pasadena Park, Pasadena Hills, Hillsdale, Wellston, Pagedale and University City,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 11003
with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co., Inc., for engineering services for the design of
University City I/I Reduction - East (WC-01, WC-02 & WC-03) (11671) in the Cities of
Normandy, Pasadena Park, Pasadena Hills, Hillsdale, Wellston, Pagedale and University City,
Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by
the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 5, 2014.
