AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,300,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
equipment procurement and installation of the Lemay WWTF Plant Controls (12427), in
Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20188 with R.E. Pedrotti Co., Inc. for the aforesaid procurement and installation.
WHEREAS, the bid for said construction is One Million Two Hundred Fifty-Five
Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Four Dollars ($1,255,624.00), and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Forty-Four Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-Six
Dollars ($44,376.00).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the equipment procurement and installation of the Lemay WWTF Plant Controls
(12427), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20188 with R.E. Pedrotti Co., Inc. for the equipment procurement and installation of the
Lemay WWTF Plant Controls (12427), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on September 11, 2014.
