HomeMy Public PortalAbout13950ORDINANCE NO. 13950 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Seven Hundred Forty-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($748,975.00) from the General Fund of the District to continue the operation and maintenance of water quality sampling and analysis in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (FY2014) (11916); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20087 with the Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. for the aforesaid services. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13742 adopted November 14, 2013, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20087; and WHEREAS, said contract provides for an initial term of one (1) year with an additional two (2) year option to renew annually based on performance and Board Approval, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Seven Hundred Forty-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($748,975.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to continue the operation and maintenance of water quality sampling and analysis in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (FY2014) (11916). Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20087 with Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. for the operation and maintenance of water quality sampling and analysis in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (FY2014) (11916); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on September 11, 2014.
