AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars
($110,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek for Frontenac Forest Stormwater Improvements (11220) in the City of Frontenac,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an intergovernmental agreement under
Contract No. 20197 with the City of Frontenac, Missouri to provide financial assistance for
construction of storm sewer improvements.
WHEREAS, The Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($110,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Deer Creek for Frontenac Forest Stormwater Improvements (11220).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an
intergovernmental agreement under Contract No. 20197 with the City of Frontenac, Missouri to
provide financial assistance for construction of storm sewer improvements.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on October 9, 2014.
