AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ninety-Five Thousand Dollars
($195,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal at
St. Marie Sanitary Relief I/I Reduction (11666), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20192 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the
aforesaid private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for the sanitary sewer construction is One Hundred Thirty-
Four Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety Dollars ($134,790.00) and the allowance for change
orders and other project costs is Sixty Thousand Two Hundred Ten Dollars ($60,210.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ninety-Five Thousand Dollars
($195,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private
I/I removal at St. Marie Sanitary Relief I/I Reduction (11666), in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20192 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the private I/I
removal at St. Marie Sanitary Relief I/I Reduction (11666), in the City of Florissant, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 18th day of September, 2014.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 13, 2014.
