AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Three Million Seven
Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($3,750,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Two
Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00) from the General Fund for Construction
Management Services - Tank/Treatment/Pump Station Facilities (11151) and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to amend Contract No. 20100 with Kennedy Associates/Architects, Inc., for the aforesaid
services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13751 adopted December 12, 2013, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20100, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($3,750,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($250,000.00) from the General Fund is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund for Construction Management Services - Tank/Treatment/Pump Station Facilities (11151).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20100
with Kennedy Associates/Architects, Inc., for Construction Management Services -
Tank/Treatment/Pump Station Facilities (11151); said contract being comprised of such terms
and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 13, 2014.
