HomeMy Public PortalAbout14000ORDINANCE NO. 14000 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,900,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Providence Public I/I Reduction (11933), in various sites in the City of Webster Groves Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20187 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer rehabilitation. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer rehabilitation is One Million Seven Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Eight and 50/100 Dollars ($1,766,438.50) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-One and 50/100 Dollars ($133,561.50), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,900,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Providence Public I/I Reduction (11933), in various sites in the City of Webster Groves Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20187 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Providence Public I/I Reduction (11933), in various sites in the City of Webster Groves Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 15th day of October, 2014. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on December 11, 2014.
