HomeMy Public PortalAbout14007ORDINANCE NO. 14007 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for General Services Agreement - Sewer & Process Design (FY2014) (11759) at various locations in the District and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter in to Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 20086 with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., for the aforesaid additional engineering services. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13741 adopted November 14, 2013, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20086, and WHEREAS, said contract provides for an initial term of one (1) year with a one (1) year option to renew annually based on performance and Board approval. This is the first renewal of a one-year renewal provided in the original contract. WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for General Services Agreement - Sewer & Process Design (FY2014) (11759) at various locations in the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter in to Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 20086 with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., for additional engineering services for General Services Agreement - Sewer & Process Design (FY2014) (11759) at various locations in the District; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being a supplemental appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on December 11, 2014.
