AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,900,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Bissell-Coldwater-Missouri-Meramec Public I/I Reduction
(2015) Contract F (11925), in various sites in the Cities of Normandy, Northwoods, Pasadena
Hills, Riverview and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract No. 20194 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary
sewer rehabilitation.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer rehabilitation is Two Million Seven
Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Four Hundred Forty-Three and 05/100 Dollars ($2,788,443.05)
and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred
Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-Six and 95/100 Dollars ($111,556.95), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,900,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Bissell-Coldwater-Missouri-Meramec
Public I/I Reduction (2015) Contract F (11925), in various sites in the Cities of Normandy,
Northwoods, Pasadena Hills, Riverview and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20194 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the
rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Bissell-Coldwater-Missouri-Meramec Public I/I Reduction
(2015) Contract F (11925), in various sites in the Cities of Normandy, Northwoods, Pasadena
Hills, Riverview and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 29th day of October, 2014.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 8, 2015.
