AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Million Dollars
($1,000,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for CCTV Inspection of Sewers (2014)
(11810) throughout the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Service area, and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 20126 for the first option year with ADS
Environmental Services, LLC for CCTV Inspection of Sewers (2014) (11810) throughout the
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Service area.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13789, adopted February 13, 2014, appropriated the
initial funding and authorized Contract No. 20126, and
WHEREAS, said contract provides for initial term of one (1) year with two (2)
additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District, and
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise the option to renew said contract for
the first option year, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) is appropriated
from the General Fund to be used for CCTV Inspection of Sewers (2014) (11810) throughout the
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Service area.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment
No. 2 to Contract No. 20126 for the first option year with ADS Environmental Services, LLC for
CCTV Inspection of Sewers (2014) (11810) throughout the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District Service area, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved
by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 12, 2015.
