AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Million Two
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,200,000.00) from the General Fund of the District for Critical
Infrastructure Assessment (11125) throughout the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Service
Area, and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 20133 for
the first option year with RJN Group, Inc. for the aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13803, adopted March 12, 2014, appropriated the
initial funding and authorized Contract No. 20133, and
WHEREAS, said contract provides for an initial term of one (1) year with two (2)
additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District, and
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise its option to renew said contract for
the first option year, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District for Critical
Infrastructure Assessment (11125), throughout the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Service
Area.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment
No. 2 to Contract No. 20133 for the first option year with RJN Group, Inc. for Critical
Infrastructure Assessment (11125) throughout the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Service
Area, said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office
of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 12, 2015.
