HomeMy Public PortalAbout14065 North Baden Creek I/I Reduction BP612-Canterbury Dr 11694ORDINANCE NO. 14065 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Seventy Five Thousand Dollars ($675,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for private I/I removal in North Baden Creek I/I Reduction (BP-612) (Canterbury Dr) (11694), in the City of Pasadena Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20246 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the aforesaid private I/I removal. WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Five Hundred Sixty-Two Thousand Ten Dollars ($562,010.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Twelve Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Dollars ($112,990.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Seventy Five Thousand Dollars ($675,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for private I/I removal in North Baden Creek I/I Reduction (BP-612) (Canterbury Dr) (11694), in the City of Pasadena Hills, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20246 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal in North Baden Creek I/I Reduction (BP-612) (Canterbury Dr) (11694), in the City of Pasadena Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 12th day of February 2015. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on April 9, 2015.
