AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($970,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for sanitary
sewer construction and private I/I removal in Page to Trenton Sanitary Relief (11697), in the
City of Overland, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20244 with
Unnerstall Contracting Company Ltd. for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction and private
I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal is
Seven Hundred Nineteen Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-Four Dollars ($719,744.00) and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Two Hundred Fifty
Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-Six Dollars ($250,256.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($970,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for
sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in Page to Trenton Sanitary Relief (11697),
in the City of Overland, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20244 with Unnerstall Contracting Company Ltd. as the lowest responsible bidder for
sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in Page to Trenton Sanitary Relief (11697),
in the City of Overland, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 10th day of
February 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on April 9, 2015.
