Home My Public Portal About14074 Harmony-Acorn Sewer Separation and I/I Reduction 10642ORDINANCE NO. 14074 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Million Two Hundred Fifty-Four Thousand Dollars ($3,254,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Four Hundred Forty-Six Thousand Dollars ($446,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of North Affton to be used for sanitary sewer construction, storm sewer construction and private I/I removal at Harmony - Acorn Sewer Separation and I/I Reduction (10642), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20256 with J. H. Berra Construction Co., Inc. for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction, storm sewer construction and private I/I removal. WHEREAS, the bid for the sanitary sewer construction, storm sewer construction and private I/I removal is Three Million Three Hundred Seventy-Four Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-One Dollars ($3,374,361.00) and the allowance for change orders and other project costs is Three Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Nine Dollars ($325,639.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Million Two Hundred Fifty-Four Thousand Dollars ($3,254,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Four Hundred Forty-Six Thousand Dollars ($446,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of North Affton to be used for sanitary sewer construction, storm sewer construction and private I/I removal at Harmony - Acorn Sewer Separation and I/I Reduction (10642), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20256 with J. H. Berra Construction Co., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the sanitary sewer construction, storm sewer construction and private I/I removal at Harmony - Acorn Sewer Separation and I/I Reduction (10642), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 20th day of March 2015. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 14, 2015.
