HomeMy Public PortalAbout14125ORDINANCE NO. 14125 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($190,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for private I/I removal in the Sub-Trunk #2 Lateral Sanitary Relief (11668) project, in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20275 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., for the aforesaid private I/I removal. WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is One Hundred Fifty-Three Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($153,700.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Six Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($36,300.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($190,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal in the Sub- Trunk #2 Lateral Sanitary Relief (11668) project, in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20275 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal in the Sub-Trunk #2 Lateral Sanitary Relief (11668) project, in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 12th day of May 2015. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted July 9, 2015.
