AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty Five Thousand Dollars ($65,000.00) from
the Gravois Creek Operation, Maintenance, Construction Improvement Fund to be used for
project costs for storm sewer construction in the Manda Lane #8901 Storm Sewer (11105)
project, in the City of Crestwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20271 with Gaehle Grading, LLC for the aforesaid storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Forty-Four Thousand
Two Hundred Twenty-Two Dollars ($44,222.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Twenty Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Eight Dollars
($20,778.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of Sixty Five Thousand Dollars ($65,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Gravois Creek Operation, Maintenance, Construction Improvement Fund
for storm sewer construction in the Manda Lane #8901 Storm Sewer (11105) project, in the City
of Crestwood, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No.
20271 with Gaehle Grading, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction
in the Manda Lane #8901 Storm Sewer (11105) project, in the City of Crestwood, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received on the 29th day of April 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted July 9, 2015.
