AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Five Hundred Thirty Thousand
Dollars ($1,530,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Coldwater Creek and Two Million Twenty Thousand Dollars ($2,020,000.00) from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for construction costs for private I/I removal in McNulty -
Pallardy I/I Reduction (11662) in the Cities of St. John, Woodson Terrace, and Berkeley,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20290 with J.H. Berra
Construction Co., Inc. for the aforesaid private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Three Million One Hundred
Eighty-Four Thousand Six Hundred Forty Dollars ($3,184,640.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Three Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand
Three Hundred Sixty Dollars ($365,360.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Five Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars
($1,530,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek and Two Million Twenty Thousand Dollars
($2,020,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
construction costs for private I/I removal in McNulty - Pallardy I/I Reduction (11662) in the
Cities of St. John, Woodson Terrace, and Berkeley, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20290 with J.H. Berra Construction Co., Inc. to be used for construction costs for private I/I
removal in McNulty - Pallardy I/I Reduction (11662) in the Cities of St. John, Woodson Terrace,
and Berkeley, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 19th day of June, 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
