AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($320,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for construction costs for sanitary
sewer construction in Vinita Drive Sanitary Relief (11089) in The Village of Hanley Hills,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20284 with ABNA
Engineering, Inc. for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Two Hundred
Forty-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-Five and 40/100 Dollars ($247,735.40) and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Seventy-Two Thousand
Two Hundred Sixty-Four and 60/100 Dollars ($72,264.60), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($320,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
construction costs for sanitary sewer construction in Vinita Drive Sanitary Relief (11089) in The
Village of Hanley Hills, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20284 with ABNA Engineering, Inc. to be used for construction costs for sanitary sewer
construction in Vinita Drive Sanitary Relief (11089) in The Village of Hanley Hills, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 2nd day of June, 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
