AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($150,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for the construction of channel stabilization in Liggett to Big Bend
Channel Repairs (10370) in the City of Oakland, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract No. 20291 with Ideal Landscape Group for the aforesaid construction of channel
stabilization.
WHEREAS, the bid for said construction is One Hundred Twenty-Six Thousand
Two Hundred Sixty-Three Dollars ($126,263.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Twenty-Three Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-Seven
Dollars ($23,737.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for the construction of channel stabilization in Liggett to Big Bend
Channel Repairs (10370) in the City of Oakland, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20291 Ideal Landscape Group to be used for the construction of channel stabilization in
Liggett to Big Bend Channel Repairs (10370) in the City of Oakland, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 17th day of June, 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
