AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Five Hundred Six
Thousand Dollars ($506,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the
performance of the Lemay Plant Stress Test in the Lemay WWTP Secondary Improvements
(11649) in the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant in Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 10734 with Jacobs Engineering
Group Inc. for the aforesaid stress test.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No.13368 adopted February 9, 2012, appropriated initial
funding for and authorized Contract No. 10734, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Six Thousand Dollars ($506,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the performance of the Lemay
Plant Stress Test in the Lemay WWTP Secondary Improvements (11649) in the Lemay
Wastewater Treatment Plant in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 10734
with Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. for the performance of the Lemay Plant Stress Test in the
Lemay WWTP Secondary Improvements (11649) in the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant in
Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on August 13, 2015.
