AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend the contract with StandPoint
Public Affairs for required public education, outreach and engagement services in the Private
Inflow/Infiltration Public Engagement Program 2013 (11699), authorized by Ordinance
No. 13437 and adopted August 9, 2012, to provide an additional one-year option renewal term
and make a supplemental appropriation of Five Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars
($565,000.00) from the General Fund for the aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13437, adopted August 9, 2012, authorized said
contract and provided for a one (1) year period with two (2) additional one-year renewal terms at
the option of the District, and,
WHEREAS, the District and StandPoint Public Affairs desire to amend the
contract authorized by Ordinance No. 13437 and adopted Augsut9, 2012 to provide for an
additional third year renewal option, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend the contract with
StandPoint Public Affairs for public education, outreach and engagement services in the Private
Inflow/Infiltration Public Engagement Program 2013 (11699), authorized by Ordinance
No. 13437 and adopted August 9, 2012, to provide and additional third year renewal term.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to exercise its option to renew
the contract authorized by Ordinance No. 13437 and adopted August 9, 2012, for a third year
renewal term.
Section Three. The sum of Five Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars
($565,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for the Private Inflow/Infiltration
Public Engagement Program 2013 (11699).
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on August 13, 2015.
