HomeMy Public PortalAbout14203ORDINANCE NO. 14203 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in Pickwick - Bernadine - Bimini Sanitary Relief (11698) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20302 with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd. for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal is One Million Nine Hundred Fifty-One Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($1,951,625.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Forty-Eight Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($148,375.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in Pickwick - Bernadine - Bimini Sanitary Relief (11698), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20302 with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd., as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in Pickwick - Bernadine - Bimini Sanitary Relief (11698), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 23rd day of July 2015. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. This foregoing ordinance was adopted September 10, 2015.
