AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for property acquisition, demolition, and related activities
for the construction of a sanitary storage facility in University City Sanitary Storage Facility
(Hafner Ct) (11992) in the City of University City, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
acquire property without additional board action.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for property acquisition,
demolition, and related activities for the construction of a sanitary storage facility in University
City Sanitary Storage Facility (Hafner Ct) (11992) in the City of University City, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to acquire property without
additional board action for property acquisition, demolition, and related activities for the
construction of a sanitary storage facility in University City Sanitary Storage Facility (Hafner Ct)
(11992) in the City of University City, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
