AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) from the
Operations, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for
construction project costs for storm sewer construction in Lavinia Dr. #10709 Storm Sewer
(11354) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract No. 20297 with Gaehle Grading, LLC for the aforesaid storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Forty-Eight Thousand
Four Hundred Twenty-Seven Dollars ($48,427.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Three Dollars
($11,573.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois
Creek for storm sewer construction in Lavinia Dr. #10709 Storm Sewer (11354), in
Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20297 with Gaehle Grading, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer
construction in Lavinia Dr. #10709 Storm Sewer (11354) in Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 14th day of July 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
This foregoing ordinance was adopted September 10, 2015.
