AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Eighty-Five
Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the
Coldwater Creek WWTP Screenings & Washer/Compactor Improvements (11809) in
Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Amendment No. 4 to Contract No. 20098 with Tetra Tech, Inc. for additional project costs for
the design of a wastewater treatment plant.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13748 adopted December 12, 2013, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20098, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the Coldwater Creek WWTP
Screenings & Washer/Compactor Improvements (11809) in Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment
No. 4 to Contract No. 20098 with Tetra Tech, Inc. for additional project costs for the design of a
wastewater treatment plant for Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00), and shall be
comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
